Nordic Games have announced a synch deal with Ministry of Sound, which will see the super club brand provide five songs for downloadable content for We Dance.

The tracks will be: 


Enur – Calabria
Sidney Samson – Riverside (Let’s Go!) (feat. Wizard Sleeve) 
Byron Stingily – Get Up (Everybody)
Studio B – I See Girls (Crazy)
Benny Benassi – Satisfaction

The five songs will be the first five available in the Dance Shop, We Dance’s online store and will cost 300 Wii Points each and will be available in September 2011.

Nordic Games have released the hit-packed tracklist for We Dance, the new game in the ‘We’ family of games, with 40 tracks available from launch day.


People can dance to classic floor-fillers and modern hits like Love Shack by the B-52s, Boys and Girls by Pixie Lott, Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit by Fedde Le Grande, Rhythm Is A Dancer by Snap!, Spice Up Your Life by Spice Girls, Hey Ya! by Outkast and Car Wash by Rose Royce.


The songs span four decades of music ensuring there is something to suit all tastes, and thanks to clearly labelled star ratings, there’s something for all abilities. Furthermore, all dance steps have been carefully choreographed by a team of professional dancers for a realistic and accurate game experience.


Key features of We Dance include three styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using the dance mat accessory such as Nordic Games’ “Star Mat” or a combination of both – making it the most challenging and rewarding dancing game on the market.


Supporting up to four players dancing simultaneously, the game also features warm-up sessions, mini-games, jukebox mode, tutorials and performance statistics.

Nordic Games have revealed the features of We Dance for the Wii, which are as followed:


We Dance will support up to four players dancing simultaneously to 40 classic dance tracks.


To prepare for the main game, there are warm-up sessions which ensure people will be ready to really throw themselves into the game, while Dance School provides player tutorials so they can learn the dance steps and hand movements for each song before trying it in the main game.


For authenticity, all dance steps have been fully choreographed by professional dancers, and to guide players, each song has a Star Rating, giving an indication of how difficult each track is.


Crucially, following completion of a routine, gamers will receive their performance statistics – helping them to learn and develop moves and, for the really competitive, there are also leaderboards which feature top player charts.


As already revealed, unlike other dancing games, We Dance utilises three different styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using a dance mat accessory such as Nordic Games’ ”Star Mat” or distinctively a combination of both – each offering varying levels of difficulty.


We Dance will launch with 40 licensed tracks spanning four decades of music; from rock to pop, rap to disco and hip hop to drum ‘n’ bass, there is something for everyone. The majority of tracks include the original videos to further add to the experience.


In addition to the main game there are three Party Game modes – ‘Jump’, ‘Step’ and ‘Pose’ – featuring a variety of four player mini games to challenge friends and family alike.


Following the successful and familiar We Sing formula, there’s Jukebox mode Dance TV, for people to enjoy all 40 tracks and videos.
