Zen Studios has today announced a major update for Zen Pinball 2 for PlayStation 4. The update, which will go live on PS4 on July 15th, brings a host of tables from the PS3 and Vita versions of the game over to the platform.

The following tables and table packs will be available for download on PS4 starting next week, priced as listed:

Additionally, players who downloaded any of these tables on PS3 or Vita previously can import them now onto the PS4 version of Zen Pinball 2 at no charge.

Players looking to utilize cross-platform purchasing for the tables are encouraged to purchase them on either their PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita systems before using the Import Table function from within the PlayStation 4 version of Zen Pinball 2.

The pinball masters at Zen Studios have partnered with Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman, the writer of The Walking Dead, to create an all-new digital pinball table based on the The Walking Dead game series.

A true collaborative effort, both Zen and Telltale have worked together on each detail of the table design, sharing ideas and fusing their passion to bring the story and choice-driven gameplay of The Walking Dead: Season One journey to the playfield. Touring locations from Clementine’s treehouse and Everett’s pharmacy in Macon, all the way down the tracks to the walker-infested streets of Savannah, players will find an authentic tour of Season One capturing the peril and drama of Lee and Clementine’s story.

The Walking Dead Pinball table features choice-driven gameplay across each of Season One’s five episodes, along with original story dialogue from the award-winning cast. Scenarios include choosing who to save and who to leave behind in a walker attack, solving problems and keeping up morale within the group, searching for food and supplies, acquiring important tools, and navigating through the herd amidst an oncoming walker breach.

“Zen knocked it out of the park with their interpretation of Telltale's first season of The Walking Dead as a pinball table,” said Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games. “Players once again get to step into the shoes of Lee Everett and protect Clementine as all the major events of season one play a role in the first ever pinball game that features choice and consequence gameplay."

The Walking Dead Pinball table will be demonstrated at this year’s E3 and will be available for download later this summer on Zen Studios pinball platforms across console, PC, and mobile stores.

Zen Pinball 2 will release on PlayStation 4 on December 17th in North America and December 18th in Europe, featuring a selection of tables from the previous generation’s table library. Marvel’s Doctor Strange will join Zen Pinball 2 on PlayStation 4 as launch content. The table will be available for $2.99.

Zen Pinball 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 as a free platform download with a total of 20 tables available as paid DLC. Users can purchase tables inside the Zen Pinball 2 platform, including the following tables and packs at launch:

Zen Studios has HUGE plans for pinball in 2014, including more Star Wars Pinball and Marvel Pinball tables, as well as tables based on more iconic and exciting brands.

Zen Studios have announced that Star Wars Pinball, a brand new collection of tables for Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX 2, will be available for download this February on a variety of digital platforms.

Altogether there will be a total of ten themed pinball tables in the Star Wars Pinball collection. The initial three-table pack, available this month, will be themed around fan favorites including Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Each table in the collection features a different iconic moment from the Star Wars universe, with interactive 3D characters, and unique gameplay. In the first three tables, players will take control of beloved characters such as Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. Players will also be able to post their scores to global leaderboards, experience in-game friend challenges, local hotseat, online multiplayer, and a host of other features.

Star Wars Pinball will be available as DLC for the following platforms:

• Pinball FX2 on Xbox LIVE Arcade & Windows 8.
• Zen Pinball 2 on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Vita with Cross Buy entitlement. Purchase once and play on both systems.

Additionally, Star Wars Pinball will be available for download as a standalone application on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Zen Studios have announced that their arcade style pinball game, Zen Pinball 2, will be available for download on the Nintendo eShop on Wii U later this month in both North America and Europe.

Zen Pinball 2 will be a free platform download for all users, including free trials for each table and a huge library of pinball tables for purchase, including the Super Hero themed Marvel Pinball series, and the zombie themed Plants vs. Zombies table.

Zen Pinball 2 is full of Wii U GamePad features such as controlling the plunger on the touch screen, rotating camera views, accessing information via the dot matrix, and Free View control by tilting the Wii U GamePad. Zen Pinball 2 on Wii U will release with a huge content library available, including three Marvel Pinball packs, a collection of Zen Studios’ original designs, and several individual tables:

When Zen Pinball 2 releases, existing Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball owners will simply download an update and their content will automatically import into the new Zen Pinball 2 platform. Each table will receive updated physics, new trophies and integration into a new social system that includes the option to post scores to Facebook.
