Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - Igniting a countdown to the classic remake

In just two weeks, gamers will be able to relive the legendary sci-fi epic that defined a decade of Xbox gaming with the worldwide launch of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on 15th November. To mark the 10th anniversary celebration, 343 Industries have released a nostalgic campaign trailer that brings fans back to the beginning of the iconic adventure and sets the stage for the arrival for the most eagerly anticipated remake.

Halo: Anniversary includes a bounty of new features, including cooperative play over Xbox LIVE, six re-imagined multiplayer maps and one new Firefight mission, a Classic graphics mode, Achievements, Kinect and 3-D support, and new challenges and story to uncover.

Halo: Anniversary is currently available for pre-order at participating retailers worldwide and players who preorder will gain access to the Master Chief Avatar Armour and the exclusive “Grunt Funeral” skull, which causes the series’ most lovable enemy to explode in a blaze of plasma when killed.
