Bethesda to release Skyrim Creation Kit in January 2012

Bethesda has unveiled that a Creation Kit for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available for PC players to download for free on January 2012.

The Creation Kit, which is the same development kit used by Bethesda to create the game, will support Steam Workshop, allowing gamers to submit, browse, rate and download mods for Skyrim through Steam. Gamers who dont wish to use Steam Workshop will still be able to share Skyrim mods on fan-created mod sites.
