The Xbox 360 port of the popular PC game is being developed from the beta version 1.6.6, and will be updated as development of the game continues. One most noticeable patch exclusive to the Xbox 360 version will be the support for Kinect which will be released sometime after the game has launched.
4J Studio has also confirmed that further Xbox 360 updates will be delivered as title updates, which is usually reserved for patches or bug fixes, rather than DLC, this assures that the new Minecraft content stays free. But due to the certifications process, the 360 version will always be a little behind the PC version.
