The demo offers up a healthy slice of the full game and boasts updated visuals running at 720p and 60 frames per second, with 5.1 surround sound, and also features stereoscopic 3-D and optional PlayStation Move controls. The demo can be downloaded directly from a PS3 via the PlayStation Store, or from oddworld.com/strangerdemo.
In addition, the publisher has also released a substantial update to the existing full version of the game, which includes the aforementioned 3-D visuals and Move support, re-encoded cut-scenes, various performance improvements, leaderboards and additional languages.
The update is free to existing owners of the game, is available now across the US and Europe, and reduces the overall file size of the game.
